Former Tomahawk Commits NCAA Division I

The Johnstown Tomahawks would like to congratulate former forward Andrew McDonald for his commitment to continue his hockey career at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts next season.

During the 2013-2014 season McDonald was part of the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League. The New Brighton, Minnesota native tallied 10 points (4g, 6a) in 53 games this season for the Force.  He netted his first USHL goal on November 8th in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Youngstown Phantoms and then followed up with two more goals over his next three games. 

During the 2012-2013 Inaugural season, Andrew scored 22 points (12g, 10a) in 45 games played after being acquired from the Fresno Monsters on October 26, 2012. 

Bentley University currently has 4 active NAHL alums on its roster and is part of the Atlantic Hockey Association.
