Kraemer Nets Two in 4-1 Hawks Victory

Johnstown, Pa – The Johnstown Tomahawks battled against the Northeast Generals for the second time this weekend and defeated the Generals 4-1.
The only goal of the first period was in Johnstown’s favor while on the power play. Andy Nedeljkovic scored his sixth goal of the season at 11:03. The assists went to Roman Kraemer and Joe Kile.
Johnstown went into the first intermission with the 1-0 lead over Northeast.
In the second period, the Tomahawks added to their lead. Ben Schmidling scored his ninth goal of the season to give Johnstown the 2-0 lead. The goal came at 6:42 of the middle frame and was assisted by Andrew Quetell.
Northeast solved Johnstown netmider, Jack Leavy, a couple minutes later. Louis Boudon netted his eleventh goal of the season at 8:49. The assist went to Patrick Harrington.
After two periods of play Johnstown lead Northeast, 2-1.
In the third period, the Tomahawks retook their two-goal lead only eleven seconds into the period. Roman Kraemer scored his tenth goal of the season, while the teams skated four-on-four. The assists went to Samuel Solensky and Toby Sengvongxay.
With Northeast’s goalie pulled, Johnstown added a late empty net goal from Roman Kramer at 17:31. The assist went to Andy Nedeljkovic.
Johnstown defeated Northeast 4-1.
