Mitch Hall named to All-North Division Team

May 5, 2014

Johnstown Tomahawks defenseman Mitch Hall has been named to the NAHL's All-North Division team for the 2013-14 season.

In his final year of junior hockey eligibility, Hall was tied for second among scoring leaders for the Tomahawks, posting 6 goals and 37 assists for a total of 43 points in 59 games. His plus-minus rating of +15 was also second on the team.

Those numbers ranked Hall third in scoring and second in assists among all NAHL defensemen. Among all players, he ranked fourth in assists league-wide.

Players were selected to the all-division and all-NAHL teams according to votes from the league's 24 head coaches, based upon player performance in the 2013-14 season.

“Mitch is truly deserving of his spot on the all-North Division team,” assistant coach Mike Letizia said. “His offensive production speaks for itself, but he's also a very smart player with great defensive instincts. He's a great all-around defenseman, and we're very proud to see him earn this recognition.”

Hall shared the credit for the honor with his fellow Tomahawks. “It is a tremendous honor to represent the Johnstown Tomahawks by being chosen to the All-North Division team. I couldn't have done it without my teammates and the support of our great fans,” he said.

Other members of the all-North Division team included Port Huron's Bryan Yim and Jonathan Kopacka, Robin Hogland of Janesville, Colin Larkin of Michigan, and Springfield goaltender Stefanos Lekkas.
