Soo at Johnstown
Friday March 21st
7:30 p.m.

The Series
The Tomahawks and Eagles meet for the final time in the regular season and the first time since early January. The Eagles have won five of the nine meetings this season, but the Tomahawks took two of the three January meetings. Johnstown has won one of the three meetings in Johnstown.
Brandon Reinholz and Mitch Hall each have seven points in nine games against the Eagles, while AJ Jarosz, Jacob McDowell, and Ryan Urso each have six points. Alex Okicki has appeared in all nine games against the Eagles, going 4-4-0 with a 1.72 GAA and a .943 save percentage. Paige Skoog, Nathan Klebe, and Landon Trutt have combined to go 3-3-1 against the Tomahawks this season. Former Tomahawks goaltender Colin Brennan also appeared in three games against his former team.

Following this weekend’s games, the Tomahawks travel to Janesville to conclude the regular season, while Soo closes out its regular season schedule against Springfield.

Johnstown
The Tomahawks conclude their regular-season home schedule this weekend against the Soo Eagles, as they look to snap a seven-game losing streak. The Tomahawks earned a point last weekend in Springfield, but dropped both games to the Jr. Blues. The Tomahawks will look to finish the home schedule off right, while looking for some separation as they head into the final weekend of the regular season. The Tomahawks lead Springfield by two points for the final playoff spot and Soo by four points. Johnstown trails Janesville by one point and Michigan by six in the playoff race.

Soo

The Eagles come into their final road series of the season, looking to rebound after dropping a pair of games to the first place Port Huron Fighting Falcons last weekend. The Eagles have lost three of their last five games, and are currently last in the North division.

North Division Update

All six teams are in action this weekend, but only one other match-up pairs division teams together, as Janesville travels to Michigan. In non-conference action, Port Huron travels to Wenatchee and Springfield travels to Topeka.
