Summer Player Update: Jordan Watt

Jul 21, 2013

For our next edition of Summer Player Updates, we talked to Jordan Watt!

What have you been up to this summer?
During the summer I work in a warehouse called "The Flavor Factory." When I'm not working, I'm either in the gym pumping the iron or on the ice for some pickup or helping out with kids during clinics. I have a few hobbies in the summer such as going to the beach, playing a few rounds of golf, and just enjoying my time at home.

Do you still keep in touch with your Tomahawks teammates?
I keep in touch with all the guys from the Tomahawks; they will be my brothers forever. I wish some of them could come out to California. I'd show them what a real summer is like!

What are you most looking forward to when you get back to Johnstown for Main Camp?
I'm mostly looking forward to just be back on the ice everyday with the guys.

What have you missed most about Johnstown over the summer?
I miss playing games in Johnstown the most! I miss the atmosphere in the War Memorial when we step out onto the ice. I also miss being in the locker room with the boys!

Favorite memory as a Tomahawk so far?
My favorite memory of being a Tomahawk so far was opening night in the War Memorial. I get chills throughout my body every time I think about and replay it in my head.

Do you have a favorite game other than Home Opener?
Jack Ham Night was awesome to meet a local legend and one of the all-time great NFL Linebackers. The weather was pretty bad out with the huge snow storm, so a lot fans had a hard time getting to the game but it was still a great night and atmosphere.
