Tomahawks Acquire Defenseman Trevor Heuser
Johnstown, Pa. – The Johnstown Tomahawks are pleased to announce the team has acquired defenseman Trevor Heuser from the Corpus Christi IceRays.
As part of a trade, the Tomahawks gained the Farmingdale, NJ native for defenseman Ian Spencer.
Heuser was originally selected by the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League in the 19th round of the 2012 USHL Entry Draft. While playing for the IceRays, Heuser was called up to play with Des Moines in three games last season. He was acquired by the IceRays after playing for the New Jersey Titans 16U team in the North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL).
