Tomahawks Announce 2nd Annual Scout Night

Oct 14, 2013

The Johnstown Tomahawks invite all boy and girl scouts and friends of scouting to join us for our second annual scout night night on Saturday November 16th at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.

The fun gets underway at 4 p.m. when scouts and their families are invited to come early and participate in a pre-game skate with our mascot Chopper and some of the Tomahawks players. Scouts can bring their own skates or use the ones provided by Planet Ice. Those troops/packs requiring skates must send a list of names and skate sizes to info@johnstowntomahawks.com by November 13th. During the skate, packs and troops are encouraged to take pictures on both the Tomahawks and visitors benches.

Following the skate, a pizza party will be held behind section 9 for all scouts and their families from 5-6 p.m (The cost is $2 per person for the Pizza Party). During the party, scouts will have the opportunity to win prizes, including the chance to participate in some of the on-ice promotions during the game.

From 6-6:20 p.m. a member of the Tomahawks organization will talk with the scouts. Scouts will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

All scouts in attendance will be invited onto the ice to participate in the pre-game ceremonies leading up to the 7 p.m. face-off between the Tomahawks and Wenatchee Wild.

Tickets are $6 for scouts and $8 for adults. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.johnstowntomahawks.com, call 814-536-4625, or e-mail info@johnstowntomahawks.com.
