The Tomahawks face a familiar opponent in Springfield as the Jr. Blues franchise was a divisional opponent from 2012 until the end of the 2014-15 season. The game is scheduled for a 11:15 am (CST) faceoff Wednesday, Sept. 21.
For the first time the Tomahawks and the 2015 Robertson Cup Champions, the Wilderness, will square off on Thursday, Sept. 22.
Friday, Sept. 23 features a meeting with Austin, a team the Tomahawks have a record of 0-1-1 against all time.
Johnstown concludes the Showcase event with a contest against the expansion Shreveport Mudbugs at noon (CST) Saturday, Sept. 24.

The yearly event garners the attention of many NCAA programs and NHL teams, which utilize the four days to heavily scout the best young talent in North America. In previous seasons, more than 300 professional, college, and junior scouts, along with over 9,000 people, have attended.

Celebrating its 41st season in 2016-17, the NAHL is the oldest junior hockey league of its kind in the United States and one of only two that operate under the USA Hockey non pay-to-play model.
