The Johnstown Tomahawks thank you for your interest in our organization and are pleased to extend an invitation to tryout to earn a spot on the team’s 2013-2014 roster.  As we prepare for our second season as part of the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) North Division, the Tomahawks remain deeply committed to developing highly skilled talent and providing Johnstown and surrounding Western Pennsylvania communities with an elite hockey team to support.

Under the direction of Head Coach Jason Spence and Assistant Coach Mike Letizia–along with goaltending coaches and team personnel–, we will hold one Pre-Draft Camp and two Free Agent/Open Camps during the spring and summer of 2013. All information regarding camp dates and locations can be found below.

Our Tryouts Camps are designed to provide players with the ability to display their talents to our organization through a variety of on-ice methods over a period of multiple days to ensure each young man has a significant opportunity to demonstrate his skills in attempts to earn a spot on the roster.

Those players who receive an invitation to our main camp will receive individualized feedback from our coaching staff, who combined  have over 20 years of experience coaching or playing professional hockey.

Becoming part of the Tomahawks hockey family will allow you to forever be a part of the storied and beloved history of hockey in Johnstown, which is well known for it’s dedication to the game at all levels. Most importantly, the team prides itself on helping all players to achieve their personal best level of play while in a Tomahawks uniform and actively assisting with the recruiting efforts of all major colleges and universities. One of our many goals is to place our players within the best collegiate hockey programs in the country or to help them on the road to playing professional hockey.
