Established in 1950, the War Memorial was built to honor local veterans. It has been a focal point in the city of Johnstown for over six decades, hosting professional and youth hockey as well as concerts and other events.

The arena, along with the city, was showcased during a nationally televised game after the community captured the first-ever Kraft Hockeyville, USA.

“It’s been a memorable year for hockey in Johnstown and this is the ultimate hockey souvenir for fans of the historic War Memorial Arena,” said Director of Business Operations Jean Desrochers. “We anticipate a lot of excitement for this unique giveaway and we encourage fans to purchase tickets ahead of time.”
