Tomahawks Fall to Wild 2-1

    Wenatchee’s Jakob Ahlgren scored two second period goals as the Wild defeated the Johnstown Tomahawks 2-1 on Friday night at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee, Wash.

    The Tomahawks got on the board first, as Shane Bednard received a pass from Brandon Reinholz and fired it past Wild goaltender Gustaf Johansson for a power-play goal at 16:57 of the first period. Bednard now has three point (2G-1A) against Wenatchee this season.

    Wenatchee’s Jakob Ahlgren tied the game 22 seconds into the second period, scoring on a shot that slipped between Jake Moore and the left post. Ahlgren picked up his second goal of the game, scoring from the left side of Moore at 7:07.

    Johansson earned the win, stopping 15 of 16 shots. Moore allowed 2 goals on 33 shots in the loss. The Tomahawks went 1-for-6 on the power play, while the Wild went 1-for-4.
