Weekend Preview: Johnstown @ Springfield

The Tomahawks make their final trip to Springfield this season, for three games against the Jr. Blues. This weekend has added significance, as Tomahawks sit two points behind the Jr. Blues for fourth place in the North Division.

                The teams have met five times this season, with the Jr. Blues taking four of the five meetings. The Tomahawks will host the Jr. Blues March 7-8 for the final two meetings in Johnstown this season.

                Casey Linkenheld leads the Tomahawks with five points (2 goals, 3 assists) against the Jr. Blues. Grant Meyer leads the Jr. Blues with seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) against the Tomahawks. Springfield goaltender Dryden McKay is 3-0 with a .980 save percentage against the Tomahawks this season.

                Following this weekend’s games, the Tomahawks close out the road trip with a pair of games againt Michigan next weekend. They return to take on Keystone Feb. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
