Tomahawks and Assistant Coach Part Ways

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. –The Johnstown Tomahawks stated on Wednesday that Nick Shackford, one of the team’s assistant coaches, and the organization have mutually parted ways effective immediately. Shackford was hired by the organization in June of 2015 and spent over two seasons coaching the team’s defense and also played a primary role in scouting.

The Tomahawks, led by head coach Mike Letizia and assistant coach Frank Gribbin, return to action this weekend in Wilkes-Barre against the 6-3-2 Knights at Revolution Ice Center.
