Tomahawks Split Series with Nordiques

LEWISTON, Maine. – The Johnstown Tomahawks fell to the Maine Nordiques, 2-1. Much like Friday’s bout, the game was decided in the 3rd period. With the game tied at 1, the Nordiques put in what would be the game winning goal with just over 3 minutes left in regulation.

After splitting the series with Main, Johnstown finds themselves with 10 points (4-3-2) and slipping into 3rd place behind the New Jersey Titans (1st place) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights (2nd place).

LOOKING AHEAD

The Tomahawks hit the road again next weekend, taking on the Maryland Black Bears on October 11th and 12th, then move on to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on October 18th and 19th.

Johnstown will return home for a three game series against the Northeast Generals. October 25th will be a special night honoring Johnstown Jets legend Reg Kent, where the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative bobblehead. October 26 will be Trick or Treat at the Rink night and October 27 will be the annual Sundies Undies Toss.
