After Three-Point Weekend, Price Named East Division Star of the Week

JOHNSTOWN – The Johnstown Tomahawks and the North American Hockey League announced Monday that Colin Price has been named East Division Star of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18, 2018.
This is the fourth consecutive week a Tomahawks player has represented the East Division as Star of the Week. Price joins goaltender Carter McPhail and forwards Carson Brière and Sam Solensky as Tomahawks recipients.
The North Ridgeville, Ohio native tallied three points (three goals) in a weekend sweep of the New Jersey Titans. He scored the game-tying goal on Friday’s 4-3 win and tallied two goals in a 7-2 victory.
“Colin has really been starting to come on over the last month or so and it was really nice to see him have such an impact on our two wins this weekend,” Tomahawks head coach Mike Letizia said. “He is a prototypical 200-foot power forward and he was instrumental to our success by scoring in different ways and providing a heavy presence all weekend.”
“He was fun to watch. I am proud of Colin for the way he stepped up in two very important games and for earning the Star of the Week.”
The first place Tomahawks put their 12-game winning streak on the line against the visiting Maryland Black Bears on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24, the Tomahawks host Northeast in a post-Thanksgiving series. Friday night, fans will receive the first set of 2018-19 Tomahawks trading cards while supplies last.
