The North American Hockey League has announced the rosters for the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. Representing the Tomahawks and the East Division will be forwards Jacob Badal, Stephen Kyrkostas and Sean Ramsay.
This year’s Top Prospects Tournament will be held in Cranberry Township, PA at the UPMC Lemieux Complex on February 7-8, 2022. Each team will play two games, with the East playing at 6:30 PM Eastern on Monday, February 7 and PM on Tuesday, February 8. All the games will be broadcasted live on HockeyTV. The number of players each NAHL team is sending to the tournament was based on each team’s winning percentage within their group as of January 10, 2022. Only those NAHL players without an NCAA commitment are eligible to participate in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, except for those who have been identified by NHL Central Scouting as prospects for the 2022 NHL Draft. Each team is comprised of 22 players (13 forwards, 7 defensemen, 2 goalies).
Badal, Kyrkostas and Ramsay combine for 98 points this season for the Tomahawks. While they all have proven to be elite goal scorers for the Hawks, 46 of their 98 points have been assists, showing their playing making abilities as well. All three have appeared in all 35 games the team has played up to this point in the season.
