Johnstown Tomahawks forward, James Barbour has committed to play NCAA Division III college hockey at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
“We’d like to congratulate James on his NCAA commitment to Trinity,” said Johnstown Tomahawks Head Coach Mike Letizia. “He was an offensive weapon for us last season in Johnstown, and he should be able to add a lot of skill and playmaking ability to their lineup next season. We wish him nothing but the best as he begins his college hockey and academic career!”
Hailing from Lake Forest, IL, James has demonstrated exceptional prowess on the ice, showcasing his dedication and skillset. During his time with the Tomahawks, Barbour appeared in 55 games and tallied an impressive record of 10 goals, 23 assists, and 33 points.

Prior to his tenure with the Johnstown Tomahawks, Barbour gained experience in both the OJHL and the USPHL. Trinity College fans can anticipate Barbours’ impactful contributions to the college hockey landscape.
