Johnstown Tomahawks forward, Chase Sandhu has announced his commitment to play college hockey at York University.
“I would like to thank my family, friends, coaches, teammates, and anyone who has supported me along the way,” said Sandhu. “This couldn’t be possible without them.”
During the recent season, the British Columbia native was traded to the Johnstown Tomahawks. In his time with the Tomahawks, he showcased his skill with 15 goals and 12 assists, totaling 27 points across 46 games. Before joining Johnstown, Sandhu began the season with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, where he played nine games and scored two goals. In the 2022-2023 season, Sandhu spent 51 games with the Jr. Hat Tricks, tallying 11 goals and 17 assists. Additionally, Sandhu boasts experience from 100 games played in the BCHL, dividing his time between the Langley Riverman and the West Kelowna Warriors from the 2019 to 2022 seasons.
Sandhu will suit up for the York University Lions located in Toronto, Ontario this fall.
