Former Tomahawks Earn Regular Season Honors

        Former Johnstown Tomahawks Chris Truehl and Mitch Kontny were honored by their respective conferences for their contibutions this season. Truehl was named to the Atlantic Hockey Association’s All-Rookie team, while Mitch Kontny was named an honorable mention for the All-WIAC team.

        Truehl has appeared in 14 games for Air Force, going 8-3-0 with a 2.01 GAA and a .921 save percentage. Truehl had three shutouts this season and was recently named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Month for February.

        Kontny played in 26 games for Wisconsin-River Falls, scoring 16 points (10G-6A). Kontny was among the team leaders in goals and power-play goals, while leading the team with a .213 shot percentage and five game-winning goals.
