FOUR TOMAHAWKS SELECTED FOR TOP PROSEPCTS

Four Johnstown Tomahawks have been selected for the 2024 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Pittsburgh next month. This tournament showcases the top uncommitted prospects in the North American Hockey League.

Tomahawks Captain Zach Aben, from Dallas, Pennsylvania will be headed to Pittsburgh. With his second season underway with the Tomahawks, Aben has showcased his prowess on the ice, recording an impressive 14 goals and 19 assists in just 31 games played.

Joining Aben in the Steel City is Will Lawrence, the assistant captain of the Tomahawks, originally from Bethesda, Maryland. In his second year with the team, Lawrence has demonstrated his scoring abilities with 10 goals and 19 assists in 36 games this season.

Representing the Tomahawks at Top Prospects is, Lukas Klemm, a defenseman hailing from Stamford, Connecticut. Born in 2004, Klemm has quickly become an essential part of the team, earning the title of assistant captain in his first year with the Tomahawks. With seven goals and 15 assists in 36 games, Klemm’s contribution extends beyond the blue line, showcasing his versatility on the ice.

Goaltender Jacob Osborne will also be suiting up for Team East The Ottawa native boasts an impressive goals-against average (GAA) of 2.9 and an outstanding save percentage (SV%) of 0.91 in 26 games played. His remarkable performance includes two shutouts for the Johnstown Tomahawks

The NAHL Top Prospect tournament will be held at UPMC Mario Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, PA from February 5th to the 6th. All games will be streamed on NAHL TV.
