The Series
The Tomahawks and Jr. Blues meet this weekend for the final time in the regular-season, and the series is crucial for both teams. The Tomahawks sit just five points ahead of the Jr. Blues in the North division, while currently holding a 4-2 advantage in their six meetings this season. The Tomahawks took the first four meetings in Johnstown, before the Jr. Blues won two straight at home in January.

The Tomahawks
The Tomahawks will look to get back on the winning track after dropping a pair of games against the Janesville Jets last weekend. The Tomahawks fell 2-0 in the first game, and 2-1 on Saturday night. Shane Cuckovich provided the Tomahawks goal in Saturday night’s game. The Tomahawks are one point ahead of the Jets for third place in the North division and three points ahead of Soo. Following this weekend’s games, the Tomahawks return home to conclude their regular-home schedule against Soo. They close out the 2013-14 regular season at Janesville.

The Jr. Blues
Springfield continues their four-game homestand after splitting a pair of games against Port Huron last weekend. Springfield took game one 2-1, before Port Huron responded with a 3-2 win on Saturday night. The Jr. Blues have lost three of their last five games, and currently sit in last place in the North division. Following this weekend, the Jr. Blues travel to Topeka for a pair of games. They come home for their last home game against Janesville, before traveling to Soo to close out the regular season.

North Division Update
All six North division teams battle each other this weekend, with each series holding significance. Michigan travels to Janesville, while Soo travels to Port Huron. In the lone game earlier this week, Port Huron defeated Michigan 2-1.
