Mar 12, 2015

The Johnstown Tomahawks welcome the Michigan Warriors for a pair of important games at the Cambria County War Memorial. The Tomahawks hold a five-point advantage over the Warriors for the fourth and final playoff spot in the North Division.

On Friday night, the Tomahawks welcome some of hockey’s most famous hardware, as the Art Ross Trophy, Hart Trophy, Ted Lindsey Award, and the Stanley Cup will be on display during the game.

Fans are invited to join us on Saturday night for a Slap Shot reunion during the game. Yvon Barrette, who played Denis Lemieux in the film, will be in attendance to greet fans and sign autographs. Special merchandise will also be available for purchase.

After the game, a screening of the movie will be held, presented by the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. All fans 18+ who attend the game are invited to stay for the film.

Fans who had a role in the film are encouraged to take advantage of a special ticket offer (Click here for more information). A reception with Denis Lemieux will be held for all those who had a role in the film, starting at 5 p.m. in the Slapshot Lounge.

Face-off for both games is set for 7 p.m. Tickets are still available by calling 1-800-745-3000, by going to the War Memorial Box Office, or by visiting www.johnstowntomahawks.com.
