Jacob Osborne, goaltender for the Johnstown Tomahawks, has announced his NCAA commitment to continue his hockey career at Bowdoin College.

Jacob Osborne, the Tomahawks’ first-round draft pick in the 2023 NAHL Draft, made a significant impact between the pipes this season as the team’s starting goaltender. Hailing from Ottawa, he played 44 games and boasted an impressive save percentage of 0.918, along with a goals-against average of 2.8750. His stellar performance contributed to a remarkable season record of 27-8-2.
Osborne’s accolades extended beyond his performance with the Tomahawks. He earned a spot on the NAHL East Top Prospects team, showcasing his skills as a goaltender for Team East. Additionally, he received the honor of being named the NAHL East First Star of the Week three times during the season. Recognized for his defensive prowess, Jacob was awarded The Johnstown Tomahawks Defensive Player of the Year title. Looking ahead, Osborne is set to take on the role of goaltender for the Bowdoin Polar Bears in Brunswick, Maine, starting this fall.
