JARMAIN NAMED 14TH CAPTAIN IN TOMAHAWKS HISTORY

Aug 27, 2025

JOHNSTOWN –

The Johnstown Tomahawks are proud to announce forward Nick Jarmain as the 14th captain in team history, taking the reins from Dylan Shane who served as the team’s captain last season. Shane also set the record for games played in a Tomahawks jersey with 186 (incl. playoffs).

The 5’11”, 200-pound forward is looking to build off of a strong first season in Johnstown where he served as an assistant captain which began building the foundation of his leadership role within the locker room. Through 57 games last season, Jarmain recorded 20 points (8G, 12A), while adding on 59 penalty-minutes, showcasing his physical prowess and in some cases, leadership qualities.

The Tomahawks new captain is currently leading his team through a successful training camp, as they prepare for the first two organized games of the season, as we open with two preseason contests versus fellow East Division foe Elmira Aviators on September 5th and 6th in Elmira, New York.
