Today, players from all different states, countries, and prior teams are arriving in Johnstown, prepared to battle for a spot on the Tomahawks 2013-14 roster. Each man will lay his heart on the line to don the white, blue, and red logo of YOUR team this fall. Only invited players from the team’s three open summer tryout camps, in addition to tendered and returning players, will compete for a spot on the Tomahawks roster. There will be four squads (red, gray, navy, light blue) completing both practices and games.
Players begin checking in to the closed practice/tryout sessions at 4 p.m. today followed by a special meeting with the coaches and Front Office Staff. Throughout the next three days, the Tomahawks coaches and officials will analyze the players' skills and abilities.
THEN, JOIN US on Sunday, July 28 at 11 a.m. for the All-Star Game, open to the public at Planet Ice. After initial cuts on each day, the All-Star Game will take place between the remaining players. It will be open to the general public with merchandise and ticket information available to fans. Be one of the first people to view the final roster of players fighting to make it on the team!
