JAMES P. BOUCHARD

CHAIRMAN/MAJORITY OWNER OF JOHNSTOWN SPORTS PARTNERS, LLC

In 2003, Sewickley businessman and philanthropist James P. Bouchard founded Esmark Inc., a privately-held family company with a portfolio of industrial companies with strong roots in the steel industry. Within five years, he guided the company from an enterprise value of $2 million to $1.3 billion at the time of its sale in 2008. He re-launched the company that same year, and since 2009 Esmark has been reacquiring some of its original steel assets. Today, Esmark’s three largest business segments are steel manufacturing, oil and gas exploration, and production of industrial equipment for OEMs.

Saylor, a Jerome, Pa. resident, is the recently retired Chief Executive Officer for both Somerset Hospital and the Somerset Hospital Foundation. He is a board member for JARI, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, Senior Choice, Cambria Somerset Council and former president of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce.

 

JACK HAM

Jack Ham attended Bishop McCort High School while growing up in Johnstown before attending Penn State University, where he was a star linebacker for the Nittany Lions football team.   At Penn State, Ham’s accolades included being named to the 1970 College Football All-America team.  He later played 11 seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was part of four Super Bowl championship teams.  He retired in 1982, but is still considered one of the greatest linebackers to ever play.  He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1990.

 

SHANE CONLAN
TEAM MINORITY OWNER

Shane Conlan was a star linebacker for Penn State University from 1982 to 1986 before the Buffalo Bills selected him eighth overall in the 1987 NFL Entry Draft.  Before his retirement from pro football in 1995, Conlan was a two-time AFC champion and a three-time All-Pro selection.

 

MARK LEE
TEAM MINORITY OWNER

Mark Lee has had ties to Johnstown’s new NAHL franchise since 2005, serving as the sole owner since 2008. Mr. Lee, whose background is in banking and real estate development, will remain as a minority owner with the team. He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force during the Vietnam War and lives in Wasilla, Alaska.
