Oct 13, 2015

JOHNSTOWN– The Johnstown Tomahawks are proud to announce that defenseman Adam Pilewicz has been named the East Division Star of the Week for his performance last weekend.

Pilewicz scored a goal and added three assists, helping Johnstown earn three of six points against Aston and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

“As a first year defenseman, Adam has progressed each week improving his game and becoming more adjusted to this league. With some different situations occurring, his role increased heavily this weekend and he ran with it. I am very proud of the way he elevated his game and I look forward to watching him continue to progress,” said Johnstown head coach Mike Letizia.

Pilewicz has appeared in eight games this season, scoring two goals and picking up three assists. The Sewickley, Penn. native appeared in one game for the Tomahawks last season.

Johnstown opens its 2015-16 home schedule this Friday and Saturday against the New Jersey Titans. Friday night’s game features an appearance by Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Hull, presented by WJAC. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit www.johnstowntomahawks.com.
