Last Night
        Last night, the Jets and Tomahawks battled in a physical game at the Cambria County War Memorial. When all was said and done, the Jets earned a 2-0 victory, pulling them within three points of the Tomahawks for third place in the division.

        Zach Avolio opened the scoring for the Jets at 7:28, with a shot off a face-off from the right side of Alex Okicki. Janesville took a two-goal lead in the second period, as Drew Callin scored a power-play goal at 10:38. Adam Winborg and Tyler Rehm added assists on the goal.

        Logan Halladay earned the win, stopping all 27 shots he faced. Alex Okicki took the loss, stopping 20 of 22 shots. The Tomahawks went 0-for-5 on the power play, while Janesville went 1-for-4.

        Following tonight’s game, the Tomahawks travel to Springfield to take on the Jr. Blues next Friday and Saturday. Face-off is set for 8 p.m. on both nights from the Nelson Center.

Division Recap
        In divisional action last night, Soo defeated Michigan 3-2 in a shootout, while Springfield defeated Port Huron 2-1. The Fighting Falcons lead the division by four points over Michigan. The Tomahawks sit in the third spot, three points ahead of Janesville and five points ahead of Soo and Springfield.
