Johnstown Tomahawks forward Egan Schmitt has committed to Babson College to continue his hockey career at the collegiate level. Schmitt will be playing for the Division III school in Babson Park, Massachusetts beginning in the upcoming season.
The Cambridge, NY native put up 16 goals and 20 assists in 45 games in the 2021-22 campaign for the Tomahawks, along with a goal and an assist in the playoffs.
Schmitt was named East Division Star of the Week late in the season, as he put up four points in a weekend sweep against the New Jersey Titans, along with being named the team’s Unsung Hero of the season.
