JOHNSTOWN – The Johnstown Tomahawks completed a dramatic third-period comeback as they defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3-2 in overtime moving their record to 33-5-0 on the season.

1st Period Recap
The Tomahawks received two welcomed additions to the lineup as Mitch Hale and Pavel Kharin returned to the ice in this game.
It would Alex Wilkins to get the scoring started late in the first period. Carson Brière and Bennett Stockdale picked up the assists.
Wilkins’ point shot bounced past the outstretched glove of Knights netminder Zach Stejskal for his fourth of the season and a 1-0 lead for the Tomahawks.

2nd Period Recap
The Tomahawks had their fair share of scoring chances on Stejskal but the 6-4 goaltender held strong.
WB/Scranton tied the game at 1-1 after Anthony Mastromonica’s wrist shot beat Tomahawks goalie Cooper Lukenda.

3rd Period Recap:
Knights forward Jake Fuss put the Knights in front 2-1 with his third of the season 2:27 into the period.
However, the Tomahawks battled back late in the period as Carson Brière fired home his 26th of the season to tie the game at 2-2.
Overtime Recap:
Tomahawks forward Bennett Stockdale chipped in the game-winning goal just 1:13 into the overtime frame. Brière notched his third assist of the game on Stockdale’s 12th of the season.
