Toale Commits to Bentley University

JOHNSTOWN – Johnstown Tomahawks defenseman Hunter Toale announced his commitment to play Division I hockey at Bentley University beginning in the fall of 2019.
Toale, of Coral Springs, Fla., is in his rookie season in the North American Hockey League. Through 28 games, he has scored one goal and added 16 assists. He leads the NAHL among rookies with 13 power play assists.
“Hunter has been a strong part of our team in his rookie season,” head coach Mike Letizia said. “I am really happy for Hunter on his commitment to Bentley, and we look forward to him continuing to be a major part of our team the rest of the season.”
Located in Waltham, Mass., Bentley University is home to the Division I Falcons, who play in the Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA).
Johnstown continues its early December road trip when they skate into Jamestown, NY to face the Rebels on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:05 p.m.
The Hawks return to 1st Summit Arena on Friday, Dec. 14 for a 7:30 p.m. tilt with New Jersey. Fans will receive a souvenir beanie cap while supplies last. Saturday night is the traditional Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or other stuffed animals to the game to toss onto the ice after the Tomahawks score their first goal. Faceoff on Saturday, Dec. 15 is set for 7 p.m.
