JOHNSTOWN –

The Johnstown Tomahawks have acquired 2006 born defenseman, Lazurus Ebanoidze from the New Jersey Titans in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2026 NAHL Entry Draft.

Ebanoidze skated in 40 games for the Titans last season and registered 3 assists, along with just 14 penalty minutes (PIM). It will be interesting to see how Lazurus transitions his game from one East division rival to another, this upcoming season.

President of Hockey Operations, Gary Biggs had this to say about his new defenseman following the trade: “Lazurus is a player our organization is very familiar with, having had significant success against the Tomahawks during the 24-25 season. A product of some of the top youth hockey programs in New Jersey, he consistently distinguished himself through a combination of reach, skating ability, physical presence, and offensive instincts. He is currently progressing through the USHL training camp process, and we extend our best wishes for his continued success.”
