JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Tomahawks, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announced Tuesday that the team has traded forwards Ben and David Schmidling to the Springfield Jr. Blues in exchange for a first round selection in the 2018 NAHL Draft.
Ben Schmidling scored 16 goals and added 15 assists in 57 games played in 2017-18. His brother, David, added two goals and chipped in seven assists in 51 games played.
The Schmidlings were acquired from the Janesville Jets in late September 2017.
The NAHL Draft begins on Tuesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. EST. A live stream of the draft can be listened to free of charge at HockeyTV.com.
