Tomahawks Announce Pucks & Paws Night

 

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Tomahawks are excited to announce the 1st Annual Pucks & Paws Night to be held during the team’s 7 p.m. Saturday, February 16 matchup vs. the Wenatchee Wild at the War Memorial Arena. Fans attending the game are invited to bring their friendly dogs, who can gain entry when their owners purchase a $5 dog ticket. All the proceeds from these tickets will benefit the Johnstown Police Department K-9 Corps.

Johnstown Police K-9 officer Sgt. Michael Plunkard and Athos, a Belgian Malinois police dog, will drop the ceremonial first puck. The evening will also feature $1 hot dogs, a fun dog zone, a dog parade on the ice, fun treats and prizes for the dogs.

The team is on the road this Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9 in Janesville, Wis. to face the Jets before returning home for two games against Wenatchee on Feb. 15 and 16.
