TOMAHAWKS ANNOUNCE WJAC AND CW PARTNERSHIP

The Johnstown Tomahawks are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with WJAC-TV and the CW that will bring live broadcasts of four Tomahawks games to television viewers for the first time in the team’s history.

The historic lineup includes two Friday night games, which will air on The CW channel:

  • Friday, November 8th at 7:30 PM – Tomahawks vs. Northeast Generals
  • Friday, November 15th at 7:30 PM – Tomahawks vs. Maryland Black Bears

Additionally, two Saturday matchups will be broadcast on WJAC:

  • Saturday, December 7th at 7 PM – Tomahawks vs. Rochester Jr. Americans
  • Saturday, December 21st at 7 PM– Tomahawks vs. Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks

The team’s broadcasts have reached new heights this past season, earning the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) “Broadcast of the Year” award for 2023-2024. Veteran broadcaster Rick Hull will bring the play-by-play action to fans, with Dr. Ed DeMartino providing color commentary. The production will be directed by Johnstown Tomahawks Director of Broad casting, Jared Adams, ensuring fans have a top-tier viewing experience from their home.

The Tomahawks are back in action at the 1ST SUMMIT Arena for Military Appreciation weekend on Friday, November 8th at 7:30 PM and Saturday, November 9th at 7 PM. Fans can get their tickets on the Tomahawks website or by stopping in the Tomahawks main office, open weekdays 10 AM to 4 PM.
