TOMAHAWKS CLAIM FOURTH CONSECUTIVE WIN

The Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks by a final score of, 4-1.

The opening period commenced at a slower but feisty pace, as both the Johnstown Tomahawks and the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks eyed an important two points. Goaltender Zack Ferris, returning to the net for his first game since a shutout last weekend, demonstrated a solid start. However, it was the Hat Tricks who capitalized first on their power-play, establishing a 1-0 lead over the Tomahawks. At the conclusion of the initial 20 minutes, Johnstown trailed by a goal to the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks

The Tomahawks gained the momentum they needed in the second period, spurred on by Cade Baker, who leveled the game just six minutes into the period. Will Moore and Lukas Klemm assisted in the goal. Tensions escalated during this period, marked by numerous roughing calls on both teams. Will Moore added to the excitement by scoring a stunning goal, propelling the Tomahawks to a 2-1 lead over the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks as the second period concluded.

Will Lawrence continued his hot streak scoring a shorthanded goal to extend the Tomahawk’s lead to, 3-1 with ten minutes remaining. Tensions continued to be on the rise throughout the final period. Zack Ferris was unstoppable in net stopping 25 of 26 shots on goal. With just three minutes to go Lukas Klemm sealed the deal with his goal assisted by, Jaden Johnson and Alexey Yarmulnik as the Tomahawks went on to win, 4-1 over the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks.

Your Johnstown Tomahawks will head to the opposite side of the state next weekend to face the Philadelphia Rebels.
