The Johnstown Tomahawks announce that first-year coach Jared Kersner will be stepping down as General Manager and Head Coach.
“After recent meeting with Coach, we received and accepted his resignation”, said Tomahawks majority owner, John Koufis. “We would like to thank Jared for his efforts and dedication this season in leading the team to its first playoff round victory since 2019 and wish him the best of luck. The search for a new head coach will begin immediately as the focus turns to finding the next leader for our program.”
The organization remains committed to building a competitive team and the relentless pursuit of a Robertson Cup championship.
