Tomahawks Fall to Generals Saturday Night

The Johnstown Tomahawks suffered a 4-2 loss to the Northeast Generals on the road in Attleboro, Massachusetts Saturday night.

After a scoreless first period, Frank Jenkins netted his first goal of the season on a Northeast delayed penalty to put the Tomahawks up 1-0 1:15 into the second period. Paul Minnehan tied the game at 1 for Northeast with his second goal of the series and fourth goal of the season with 4:34 to go in the middle frame. Johnstown responded as James Barbour regained the lead for the Tomahawks, but Northeast responded as well as Minnehan scored again less than two minutes following Barbour, sending the game to the third period tied at 2.

Not much action in the third period lead to two late goals from Jake LaRusso 48 seconds apart to give the Generals a 4-2 win on Saturday night.
