TOMAHAWKS FALL TO JACKALOPES

The Johnstown Tomahawks were defeated by the Odessa Jackalopes by a final score of, 6-1 in the second game of the NAHL Showcase.

The first period was tough for the Johnstown Tomahawks, as things didn’t go their way. Odessa took control early, netting three consecutive unanswered goals before the period came to an end, putting Johnstown in an early deficit heading into the second. 

Odessa opened the scoring just three minutes into the second period, extending their lead. However, Ryan Flaherty sparked some life for the Tomahawks, cutting the deficit to 4-1 with a goal assisted by Cullen Emery and Dylan Shane. After 40 minutes of play, the Jackalopes still held a commanding 4-1 lead.

Odessa would go on to score twice more during the third period as the Tomahawks would fall to the Jackalopes by a final score of, 6-1.

The Tomahawks will face the Janesville Jets tomorrow at 4 PM EST for the NAHL Showcase finale. Fans can watch the action live on NATV (NAHLTV.COM.)
