The Jamestown Rebels defeated the Johnstown Tomahawks Saturday night on their home ice in New York by a final score of 4-1, forcing a game five on Sunday.

The Rebels extended their lead early in the 2nd period with a goal from Noah Szretter, giving his team a 3-1 lead. Szretter’s goal was the only of the period for either squad.

Vaarwerk’s second of the game gave Jamestown a 4-1 lead with 11:57 to go in regulation. Despite their 3rd period efforts, Johnstown was not able to claw their way back into the game and Jamestown finished the game with a 4-1 win, forcing a decisive game five back in Johnstown.
