Nov 19, 2015

New Jersey Titans at Johnstown Tomahawks

Weekend Preview

Friday November 20th (7 p.m.), Saturday November 21st (7 p.m.), Sunday November 22nd (3 p.m.)

This weekend, the Johnstown Tomahawks continue their 11-game homestand, as they welcome the New Jersey Titans to the War Memorial for a three-game series. The Tomahawks currently sit eight points behind the Titans for first place in the East Division.

After snapping their seven-game losing streak with a 4-3 shootout win last Saturday night, the Tomahawks are looking to begin a winning streak against the Titans. Luke Lynch has been strong for the Johnstown, scoring four goals and adding four assists in the last five games.

The Titans enter the weekend, after splitting a pair of games with the Aston Rebels last weekend. They are led by Raymond Brice and Andrew Durham, who each have three goals and six assists in the last nine games.

Johnstown and New Jersey have played five times this season, with the Titans taking four of the five meetings. The Tomahawks lone win in the season series came in New Jersey on Oct. 3. New Jersey took the most recent meetings in Johnstown, spoiling the Tomahawks home opening weekend.

Andrew Romano leads the Tomahawks with five points (two goals, three assists) in five games against New Jersey, while Keegan Miller and Anthony Cusanelli each have seven points against the Tomahawks this season.
