Tomahawks, Rajalin-Scharp Shutout Nordiques

The Johnstown Tomahawks won 2-0 over the Maine Nordiques on Friday night as Alec Rajalin-Scharp earned the shoutout in net for Johnstown.

The Tomahawks and Nordiques played a tight, back and forth game in the first two periods, leaving the game scoreless going into the third period. Alec Rajalin-Scharp stood tall between the pipes for the Tomahawks, making 20 saves, with 13 of them coming in the second period.

Nick Ahern was the hero for the Tomahawks Friday night going top shelf on Maine goaltender Kael Depape with 9:33 remaining in regulation. Zach Aben sealed the deal for the Tomahawks with an empty net goal, giving Johnstown a 2-0 win over the Maine Nordiques. Rajalin-Scharp recorded a 30-save shutout in the win.
