TOMAHAWKS RELEASE 2021-22 SCHEDULE

Jun 29, 2021

After the late ending of the 2020-21 season last weekend, the NAHL and Johnstown Tomahawks are happy to release the 2021-22 season schedule, with things getting back to normal.

This season will be the 10th anniversary season for the Tomahawks, who joined the NAHL in 2012.

The season will kick off in Blaine, Minnesota with the NAHL Showcase happening September 15-18, followed by the season opener on the road September 24 as the Tomahawks are set to face off against the Northeast Generals.

Hockey in Johnstown will be returning in a familiar setting as to how it ended last season. The Johnstown Tomahawks and Maryland Black Bears will be facing off on Saturday, October 2 for the home opener at 1ST SUMMIT ARENA, as the Tomahawks look to get revenge on the Black Bears after eliminating them in the opening round of the Robertson Cup Playoffs this past season.

With things returning to normal, the East Division is happy to have the Jamestown Rebels back on the schedule this coming season. The Tomahawks and Rebels are set to face off six times in Johnstown, the first coming on Black Friday, November 26.

As is tradition in Johnstown, the Tomahawks are set to face off against the Northeast Generals on New Year’s Eve, along with a second game on New Year’s Day.

The season will end in mid-April, with the final regular season games being played Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 against the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks at home in Johnstown.

Although things are looking up in the season ahead, changes are always a possibility. If you haven’t already, you can get your season tickets in full or flex for the upcoming season here.
