Johnstown, PA — The Johnstown Tomahawks are proud to announce the return of their annual Military Appreciation Weekend as they host the Elmira Aviators on Friday, November 14 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, November 15 at 7:00 PM at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial. This special weekend is dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces.

The ever-meaningful Military Appreciation Weekend has been one of the organization’s longstanding annual traditions since the team’s inaugural 2012–2013 season, reflecting the Tomahawks’ ongoing commitment to supporting local service members and veterans.
“As our way of saying thank you to both active military members and retired veterans, we are pleased to offer them free admission to our November 14 and 15 home games against the Elmira Aviators,” said London Graham, Tomahawks Ticketing Specialist. “It’s a small gesture to show our deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who protect our freedoms.”

In addition to the free admission offer, the Tomahawks will be sporting specialty military-themed jerseys throughout the weekend. Fans can look forward to exclusive sneak peeks of the new design leading up to the event. The jerseys will later be auctioned through DASH Auction during the games this weekend. Players, staff, and fans alike are encouraged to join in the spirit of the weekend by wearing patriotic colors and helping the Tomahawks show their appreciation for our heroes.

To redeem the free admission offer, eligible veteran guests can stop by the Tomahawks office during business hours or visit the 1st Summit Arena box office prior to game time.
