    Today we continue the countdown of the Top Ten Tomahawks Moments of 2015. Each day, a new moment will be revealed, until the #1 moment is revealed on New Year's Eve.

 

#3 Johnstown Sets Team Record in Sweep of Rebels

    The Johnstown Tomahawks were looking for a weekend sweep Nov. 28 against the Aston Rebels, but they finished the night setting a team record. The Tomahawks scored eight goals in the victory, setting a new team single-game goal record. Forward Luke Lynch also made history, becoming the first Tomahawks player to record a first-period hat trick.

    Lynch finished the game with five points (three goals, two assists), while fellow forwards Casey Linkenheld and Kelly O’Brien each finished the game with three points. Goaltender Ryan Glander earned the win, stopping 26 of 28 shots.
